Mooncascade proposed an overall architecture of the solution based on Avokaado service’s specifics, security, availability requirements, and growth plans. The agreed-upon solution was then implemented in collaboration with the Avokaado IT team.

What was the challenge?

Avokaado is a rapidly expanding company in the legal tech sector that manages customers’ data, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII). As such, it requires an infrastructure platform that enables unlimited growth while also providing proven solutions for high availability, data security, and platform management efficiency.

What was the solution?

We agreed to use managed, high-availability Google Cloud services that meet SOC 2 standards. We utilized container-based workloads because they are easy to scale and efficient, and Kubernetes Engine and Cloud Storage to enable workload and data isolation. Security Command Center provides feedback on compliance with security recommendations, and Google Workspace provides identity management.

What were the results?

Using Google Cloud-based solutions has eliminated the need to worry about available resources, as Avokaado can use as much as they need. The operations team has shifted their time from infrastructure maintenance to business enablement activities (such as client environment auto-provisioning). Finally, the company and client assets are protected from possible attacks due to the high level of security provided.

Avokaado is built for growth companies which means that our platform has to scale with client’s businesses and as a legal tech platform provide security by design and high availability. Our growth with clients was exceptional in 2021, growing 2300% in documents count which was well supported by the decision to upgrade our platform infrastructure and architecture together with the Mooncascade team
